Success Story

Indwell

London, ON | 2019

Project Name:
Woodfield Gate
Financing:
$2.1 million

In February 2019, Indwell finalized the purchase of Woodfield Gate at 356 Dundas Street in downtown London. The building opened in July 2019 and is now home to 69 individuals, with 50 affordable units. Indwell has a partnership with the Parkwood Institute at St Joesph’s Health Care London and houses a number of patients from the mental health care program who no longer require hospitalization but are in need of supportive housing. London Community Foundation helped to fund the building’s construction and provided a low interest loan to Indwell to purchase it from the developer.

“Woodfield Gate offers quality, permanent homes for people seeking wellness and belonging,” said Jeff Neven, Executive Director at Indwell. “With ownership of the building, we’ve made a long-term commitment to London, and we’ll continue to build affordable housing in the city.”
